Term: Fall, Spring
Description
Nanjing, with its tree-lined streets, provides all the facilities of a bustling provincial capital, including a newly completed sports arena, while providing a more manageable introduction to Chinese life than cities approaching two to three times its size. AIFS students take courses at Nanjing University in Mandarin language, as well as courses in English in Chinese cultural history, Chinese philosophy and religion, and economic and business development in China.

The program fees include the basics and the extras (tuition, housing, meal allowance for on-campus facilities, round trip flight if selected, cultural activities, services of a Resident Director and excursions).

Highlights
Students are housed in University residence halls and receive a meal allowance for three meals per day. Cultural activities include escorted, guided visits to Confucius Temple, Dr. Sun-Yat Sen's Mausoleum, Ming Xio Ling Tomb, Xixia Mountain, and Yangtze River. Students go on a one-week visit to Beijing and Xian, with double occupancy hotels and meals included. Students also receive the services of a pre-departure Student Advisory Center and an on-site Resident Director in Nanjing.
