Description: This seven-week program combines course work with guest lectures; visits to museums, mosques, and special exhibits; community partnership projects; and study tours to Granada and Istanbul, historic sites of exquisite Islamic architecture. In London, students enroll in three sequential 2-credit, two-week courses and engage Muslim communities through structured projects for an additional credit. The 2-credit field study course to Granada and Istanbul completes the 9-credit multidisciplinary program.

Highlights: Islam is the world's fastest-growing religion, but few have sound knowledge about the faith and its followers. Embark on an exciting journey to learn about Muslim cultures in multicultural Londo, an international hub of arts and commerce. This unique program will enrich your knowledge of Islam and sharpen your understanding of current events. Students from any field, including education, journalism, and international relations, will benefit from this interdisciplinary program.
