Term: Academic Year, Fall, Spring
Dates: August-January, February-July
Description
This program is designed for students who wish to enroll directly in a German university, and who want to take advantage of the wide range of university courses offered by Technische Universität Dresden. The University Studies Program gives students a great opportunity to get an insight into the academic culture in Germany, to improve their language proficiency in German as well as to study and live among German and international students. During the first weeks of the program (prior to the start of the TUD semester), students enroll in a four-credit intensive language and cultural immersion course. Students then enroll in three elective courses at the TUD and finish the semester as regular students of the University. Upon successful completion of the semester, students earn 16 to 20 Boston University credits.
