Description: Napier, one of the largest universities in Scotland, was recently rated as one of the top two "new" universities in the United Kingdom. Located on the west side of Edinburgh, Napier is a multi-campus university with its four main sites near the city center, and linked by inter-site bus transport. The University is well integrated into Edinburgh city life.

Napier recognizes your desire to take courses from across a wide range of academic disciplines, thus you are able to enroll in any of the follow subject areas: Arts and Social Science, Business, Engineering and Computing, and Science.

Highlights: Napier's academic year is divided into two semesters, autumn and spring. Students gain 60 Napier credits per semester (15 to 16 U.S. credits) by taking three modules (courses). During the semester, you will attend a program of lectures, seminars and tutorials for each module, in addition to practical or lab work which involves 12 to 20 contact hours per week. Because of the favorable student to faculty ratio (8:1), you will find your lecturers to be helpful and approachable. You can select modules in the following disciplines: Arts and Social Science, Business, Engineering and Computing, and Science.
