The Semester in Belize: Anthropology & Archeology program is an opportunity to study various distinctive cultures in a country that is an ideal learning laboratory for contemporary and historical culture studies.
The objective is to develop, through coursework and field activities, an understanding of the challenges faced by a relatively small developing country as it grows into an outstanding example of a very diverse and multicultural society, respecting distinctive cultures and preserving cultural heritage.
