A non-profit educational organization, IES Abroad offers high academic standards and extensive financial aid in almost 80 programs throughout the world. Titled "Politics and Ethnicity in the Andes," the IES Abroad January Term Program in Riobamba allows students to look at the timely topic of Andean indigenous politics, spending time in Quito and in Cuenca, and will be based in the colorful highland city of Riobamba (120 miles from Quito).
